Renata
Loree, born and raised
in the Czech republic, and got her first glimpse into yoga when she
was a teenager. She responded to the serene postures and breathing
exercises and made it a part of her life until she discovered sports.
Renata came to the United States in search of freedom and quickly
became engrossed in the hectic American lifestyle. To quiet the soul,
she rediscovered yoga and connected with the popular Baptiste power
yoga. She has extended her study of yoga through workshops with Anna
Forrest and studies by David Swenson, Beryl Bender Birch, David Life,
Sharon Gannon and more. Mostly, Renata enjoys teaching yoga and touching
the lives of her students. Practicing and teaching yoga helps Renata
stay focused in her life and helps her manage the challenges of single
parenthood and to become more loving and understanding to her son
Connor.

Alexandra,
RYT Alexandra
turned to yoga after years of long distance running left her injured
more often than not. She soon discovered a new sense of strength and
balance that resonated well beyond the studio walls. Yoga enriched
her appreciation the good things in life and gave her the grace to
face the challenges. So when her husband Dix convinced her to leave
corporate life to pursue something she loved, yoga seemed the natural
choice. Alexandra is certified by the Yoga Alliance and has completed
programs with O2 Yoga’s Mimi Loureiro and Shakta Kaur Khalsa
of Radiant Child. She uses a blend of yoga disciplines in her classes,
creating a unique balance of sweat and spirit. Focusing on breath,
alignment and awareness, she hopes to empower her students by giving
them the tools to carve their own yogic path. Alexandra is grateful
to be part of the Yoga Spot community. She continually gains insight
from her students, fellow instructors and especially her newborn twins,
Will & Lila.
