About Yogaspot classes

POWER YOGA- This is an open class. ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. In this fun, challenging class where you will move, sweat and breathe like you never have before! The classes are always a little different, a  creative and eclectic mix of traditional yoga poses linked together by the breath. You will build stability, strength and stamina as we introduce balance poses, inversions, and back bends. Yogaspot encourages students to develop their own yoga practice working at their level while continuously challenging their mind ,body and spirit......bring a beach towel and water.

 
BASIC POWER YOGA - This is a challenging, hot class ideal for the first-timer as well as the continuing student who wishes to explore the poses and the breath more deeply. We work closely with students developing their own power yoga practice. We will use breath and principles of alignment to safely open the body.

INTERMEDIATE POWER YOGA - This class is designed for those students who are looking to advance their power yoga practice and take it to the next level!! We strongly suggest that you have an understanding of power yoga or have taken at least 10 power yoga classes at the Yogaspot. This exciting class will have you continuously moving ...your body and breath. We will constantly "grow a pose " from its roots, to its core and then turn it upside down to its branches. This class will have you balancing on your feet, your toes , your hands and head. We guarantee this is not your standard power yoga class......give it a try...leave your ego at the door and turn your world upside down!


PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES-
Begin your yogic journey or take it to the next level. Class can be at the Yogaspot studio or in your home. Charge for the first class is $90 and $75 thereafter for a one hour class. Call Renata to reserve your appointment 508-254-4530

Kids Yoga
Creative Kids Yoga
Classes are structured in 8 week sessions and are $120. Pre-registration is recommended since space is limited. Class sizes are kept small so that individual attention can be given to each child. Please contact Meghan at 617.816.3650 or meghan.rukas@gmail.com with any questions or to register.
First Session:7-10 year olds: Wednesdays: 9/12-10/31 4 - 5pm,
  4-7 year olds: Thursdays: 9/13-11/1 4 - 5pm
Second Session: 7-10 year olds: Wednesdays: 11/7-1/9 *no class 11/21, 12/26 4-7 year olds: Thursdays: 11/8-1/10: * no class 11/22, 12/26

 In our fun and playful classes we will improve strength, flexibility, and
coordination using traditional yoga poses. Children will learn how to focus
and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques.
They will learn how to safely challenge themselves in a non-competitive
manner developing a greater respect for themselves and those around them. 
Our goal is to introduce your child to the concept that fitness is fun and
everyone can do it!. If we can infuse kids with this understanding at an
early age, they will develop a life-long skill and attitude about health and
well being.
