Vinyasa yoga -
Vinyasa comes from the sanscrit word - Nyasa denotes "to place" and vi denotes "in a special way . It could be said then that poses are plased together in a special way, to create a certain result. Sun salutation is a vinyasa. It is a set series of poses following a certain sequence..
VF - is a abbreviation for Vinyasa Flow. Postures are linked together through breath synchronized movement. The purpose of vinyasa is to create heat in the body, which leads to purification of the body through increased circulation and sweating. This fun and challenging class is intended for a practitioner that has some experince with yoga. The classes are always a little
different, a creative and eclectic mix of traditional yoga
poses, some challenging postures or variations might be introduced like balance poses, inversions,
and back bends.
Yogaspot encourages students to develop their
own yoga practice working at their level while continuously challenging
their mind ,body and spirit. (Heated)
PF - PowerFlow Vinyasa. Flow intended for more experienced students. Challenging transitions and deep core work are introduced. (Heated)
SD - Slow and deep Flow Vinyasa. This is a challenging class for all levels. Transitions are introduced in slow enough pace for newer practitioners and more experienced students will be challenged by deeper core work. (Heated)
AL - Vinyasa for all levels.. Flow intended for students of all levels. There are no challenging poses introduced. Just a fun flow to music, moderately paced. Good for students that are starting out, but are ready to move. (Moderate Heat)
Basic - This class is intended for new students that have not done yoga before and want to learn. (Moderate Heat)

Kids Yoga
Classes are structured in 8 week sessions and are $120. Pre-registration
is recommended since space is limited. Class sizes are kept small
so that individual attention can be given to each child. Please

Please have children arrive 15 minutes before the class start
time, in
comfortable clothes with yoga mat and water.
